- WORKING PRINCIPLE FOR ON-LINE TEST SYSTEM
A force is applied to the safety valve spindle to overcome the spring tension of the safety valve. This is achieved by using a hydraulic power pack linked to an electronic force transducer. A computer is then used to measure the force applied. By combining this data with the information about the safety valve seat and line pressure of the safety valve it is possible to access the safety valve set pressure.
Portable computer operated online safety valve test unit to test installed spring-loaded, proportional and full lift safety (relief) valves. The system allows testing of safety valve, relief valve without taking the safety valve from the installation.
On-line test System could be applied for Steam, Air, Water Process Safety / Relief Valves.
